The Lack of Updates and Rock Band 2

Sorry for the recent lack of updates on a more regular basis but as i’ve mentioned before work has gotten a whole lot busier and is wearing me out lately! I finally got to take an actual weekend off for once and not have to come into work to fix one thing or another, but i’m not sure that is going to be the trend or the exception.

Rock Band 2 came out yesterday and I haven’t had a chance to pick it up yet but the reviews are looking pretty good for it so far. I’m especially looking forward to the ability to form a band and play world tour online with my friends this time around instead of that being a local only feature. I’m still just a little bit irked that they didn’t include that feature in an update for Rock Band 1 like they originally promised, but the new game comes with a ton of new songs and band challenges as well as more outfit options etc.

Another thing that will be great is to pick up the new drum controller for Rock Band 2. It has velocity sensitive quieter pads and also is wireless. It’s biggest draw though is that it has a metal bass pedal so that it should be nearly indestructible. I say nearly, because let’s be honest - some of you are crazy on those drums!
