Disney DVD Bingo

August 26th, 2008 · No Comments

I recently received an awesome suprise in the mail, a product sample to try out.  This product in particular was pretty neat because it was Disney DVD Bingo, and everyone knows how much kids love Disney!

The product is well made with lots of colors and patterns and numbers on the cards for kids to really learn from.  Bingo is a great game for younger children because they get to learn number recognition, color recognition and even pattern matching (did I get an X pattern, four corners etc).  Also, Bingo is just plain fun, especially the way that Disney has presented it.

You have to use the remote for your DVD player to advance to the next letter/number pair and each pair is associated with a particular Disney character.  Some of them I knew and some I didn’t since I’m not as familiar with some of the newer Disney characters but my 2 year old nephew really enjoyed it as he loves Disney cartoons already (little kids just seem to fixate on television when they see it!).  What is really neat is that occasionally you get a wild card and it will show a movie clip featuring a Disney character.  These can be pretty amusing but there aren’t too many of them so you will start to see repetition eventually.

There are different game modes so you can count on many hours of fun with you and your family.  This is also a great way to keep the kids from stressing you out too much since it will provide some welcome entertainment that doesn’t involve careening around the house throwing things and drawing on the walls.  As an added bonus, they might actually learn something accidentally along the way! Also, this is a great way to spend some quality time with your family which is something so important that we don’t often make time for these days.

Disney Bingo game can be purchased online from Amazon.Com or Drugstore.Com and I encourage you to pick it up today. It doesn’t cost any more than just buying a regular DVD itself so it is a great value!
