The Fate of Tyrlon and other Dubious Things

Netflix was having shipping problems last week, but luckily I wasn’t one of the ones affected that I could tell.  The only thing different that I saw is that they didn’t actually e-mail me about my shipments until after I had received them.  I guess they just made the assumption that anybody who currently had DVDs in the queue to be sent out was affected but it actually wasn’t quite that bad.  They say they’re going to issue a 15% credit to everyone who was affected so I may actually get the credit if they considered not being notified about DVDs shipping a “problem”.

One of the recent movies that I watched from Netflix was The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  I can sort of see how it would be a cult classic, but what a strange, strange musical!  I’ve actually heard some of the songs before but didn’t realize that they came from that movie.  Also, what other movie could you ever watch that has transvestite vampires from the planet transylvania in the galaxy trans-sexual?

I’m not quite sure i’d go so far as to recommend anyone watching the movie, but it occasionally was..amusing and also always extremely strange.
