I took a short quiz over at Bills.Com and scored an 86% or “B”. This score is pretty good but it is definitely not the highest you can make! The test covers Credit, Debt, Budget, Wealth, and Life Planning. These sections help to define an overall picture of where you are and where you think you are going with financial planning.
I learned several things when taking the test since it brought up things that I hadn’t though of much lately such as the fact that I don’t really have a clearly defined budget and that I still have too much credit card debt for my tastes. Also, I need to look at a will and my 401k investments / portfolio to make sure that it is properly diversified. The quiz is really helpful because after you get done it goes through each question, analyzes your response and goes over some suggestions on things that could help you out such as: Debt consolidation, Debt relief, Debt help, Credit counseling or a number of other easy suggestions.
I’d recommend finding out what your Bills IQ is today. It definitely will be an eye opener in many regards unless you are the most fiscally sound American ever (are there any of those left?).
