If you followed E3 at all this year you know that the hottest game there was Fallout 3. Fallout 3 is being developed by Bethesda after they took over the Fallout IP from Interplay a few years back. Kept under fairly close wraps the last few years we finally have gotten a good torrent of information about the game in the last few months.
The game looks to me like it will be Oblivion style open-world gameplay with Bioshock’s graphics and a good storyline as well. The “perks” system also sounds pretty neat with a lot of customization available to make your character your own.
Fallout 3 should be a great post-apocalyptic yet humorous look at the future. The game doesn’t come out for another few months so i’m looking forward to learning more about the game and the storyline since I never actually played Fallout 1 and 2 (they are really dated at this point!).
