Software Project Updates

DeedCAD is coming along well, over the weekend we got most of the new system tied in and now just have a few issues with saving/loading and a few more things on the setup window that have to be converted over to DirectX.  I’m getting excited because i’m much more proud of this rendering system than the old one, since this one is so much smoother and you can add in satellite image backgrounds now so you can do overlays of deeds onto real imagery!

The PHP project is still awaiting funding so not much to talk about there yet but I do have another “for fun” project in the wings that my friend and I are going to pick up once we ship DeedCAD (again).  This project will be an XNA game for PC/360 that will focus on being a fairly simple 2-D strategy game (think computerized board game and you’re on the right track) that is a lot of fun.  My friend designed the game completely to playable state as a board game for one of his game design courses for his Master’s degree so we know we’ve got a solid base to work with.  As we get something done on that project i’ll try to post here and perhaps even do some tutorials if we learn anything worth sharing along the way!
