The Fate of Tyrlon and other Dubious Things

Haven’t done this in a few weeks so here are the next 4 items in my Netflix Queue:

1.  Rome Season 1 Disc 4

2. Rome Season 1 Disc 5

3. Rome Season 1 Disc 6

4. Rome Season 2 Disc 1

As you can see i’ve hit a TV show so for the next few weeks my queue will consist of all of the seasons of Rome.  So far i’ve only watched the first disc (episodes 1and 2) and it is pretty good.  The show aired on HBO but it feels like a Showtime show with the violence/nudity that is included so be forewarned in that respect.  The show is most definitely R-rated and is not for children.  The show revolves mainly around the lives of 2 Roman soldiers and their families but what happens with them intertwines with the politics of Rome.  The series is set right before Rome gets its first emperor.  At this time period Rome is still a Republic with a complicated system of Senators and Tribunes and People’s Assembly etc.

Sadly, like any show that is any good, it looks like the show was canceled after a few seasons but i’ve heard rumors they might be making a movie to finish out the story some.
