I was out of town this week to attend my younger brother’s graduation from the Air Force Academy.  The trip was pretty fun but extremely tiring due to time zone changes and the high altitude.

The President spoke at the graduation and actually shook hands with and saluted each of the graduates.  That was a pretty nice gesture given he had to do it over 1,000 times!  I guess he is a politician though so he has some stamina when it comes to shaking hands and working the crowd.  He also gave a fairly long commencement speech about various topics.

This was my first time seeing the President in person and it is pretty neat to see (arguably) the most powerful man in the world just a few hundred feet away.  Kind of awe-inspiring I think.

Congratulations to your brother. I saw part of the ceremony on tv.
