My Big NY Trip

May 19th, 2008 · No Comments

Instead of looking for Things to do in Atlanta which is only a couple of hours away from where I live, my friends and I decided to search for things to do in New York for our trip there this June.

I myself have been to New York a couple of different times before and always had a blast. Walking around Little Italy and going to a raucous Italian restaurant there was one of the highlights of one trip I did there. I also enjoyed going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as well as walking around Times Square at night.

This time around i’ve been using sightseeing tours to find things to do and get cheap tickets to various attractions. What is neat is that by using their pages they show me how much a ticket costs and the duration of the event so that I can plan my activities around that.  In fact, a lot of the activities that they suggest I didn’t even know existed!  For example, they have several New York dinner cruises where I can take a boat that will go around in the harbor while serving us fine cuisine as the sun sets.  That is what I call a fun evening spending time with your friends.

If you go to the trusted tours site and sign up for their newsletter they will enter you into a contest to win a $150 iTunes Gift Card.  That will be quite useful if I am to have enough music for the 12 hour drive to New York City!
