I wear a lot of khaki pants due to my job. They look just like Dockers and I love them a lot. One of the coolest features of the khaki pants I have is the hidden stretch waist. This allows the pants to stretch outward up to 2 inches in the waist. This feature helps not only with occasional weight gain and loss (means you still fit in the pants!) but it also is quite useful when you have to crawl around under desks to move cabling etc since it will allow the pants to stretch and not feel like they are trying to choke your waist.
However, a day in the life of my pants is really not so much fun. They get sat on a whole lot in my office chair as I respond to e-mails on the computer and work on our websites. They also get crawled around on on the dirty floor under desks and in labs where the floor is tile and covered in dust. Sometimes, my poor pants even get toner ink spilled on them or food spilled on them while eating mexican food (i’m so clumsy!).
There is a Dockers contest going on over at NBC.Com that allows you to submit commercials. You can tell what a day in the life of your pants is like in the Dockers contest and have a chance of getting your commercial feature on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
If you have any skills at commercial making it should be a fun thing to try out. Best of luck if you do, i’ll stick to voting since I have no commercial makign skills!
