The Fate of Tyrlon and other Dubious Things

Kathy over at Is8Enough had a funny post up today about trying to track down a DVD in the child’s toy closet.  I laughed because I know how much of a mess that my nephew can make when playing with his toys and how my brother is always complaining about having to clean it up.

Kathy is the mother of EIGHT kids.  Yes, you read that right.  Eight.  Holy moly!  I hope her Mother’s Day was an awesome one as I can’t imagine being able to cope with eight children ranging in age from 2-22!  Kathy must truly be a super-mom to pull it off and she writes about it on her blog.  I also love the theme that she is using on her blog, it is quite artful and festive!

Another post she wrote about recently was on parenting teens which is worth a read.  Kathy has experience with this (and more to come) and has some good advice on one of the key things of any parent-child relationship: communication.
