The Fate of Tyrlon and other Dubious Things

Whew, went out with friends last night for someone’s birthday to Asheville.   We ate and had fun conversation and then went over to Barnes and Noble so they could get coffee.  I guess this was so that they could gnaw at the effects of the alcohol consumption at dinner.

Luckily I resisted the retail pull and didn’t buy anything although I looked at a lot of different books / cds.  I was actually trying to track down some DVD-Audio discs so I can get some more 5.1 encoded discs to try out in my car.  Sadly, Barnes and Noble doesn’t seem to carry any other than video DVDs of musical performances which would work ok but is not the same thing.  Best Buy is right next door but they closed at 9 o’clock so they rolled down the gate right as we pulled up.  One would think that a store that caters to young males would realize that they stay up later than 9 o’clock and that Best Buy could do good business staying open until at  least 10 like they do on the weekends.

Got back close to midnight and didn’t sleep well so today is going to be one of those slogs where you try to make it all day without falling asleep on your desk!
