Seriously though, work boots are something that anyone in a job that requires a good deal of walking around needs to have. Sometimes when thinking about items that are necessary for your job, you think of your clothing and any other tools you might need (calculator, pens, pencils etc) but you leave out the foot wear. I discovered pretty quickly at my job that I needed something comfortable that also was long lasting. I wear a type of dress shoe that is more of a “walking shoe” much like some of the work boots above.

Wearing this type of shoe keeps you really comfortable but can also take a lot of long-term abuse so that you only have to get a pair every year or two even with daily usage.
