Sins of a Solar Empire, DeedCAD, Peter Hamilton, and my lack of Free Time!

February 12th, 2008 · No Comments

Still really busy!  Partly because i’m playing far too much of Sins of a Solar Empire, but also because i’ve been really busy at work and also tweaking some minor bugs with DeedCAD.  I have another project lined up as well that is web related and should be pretty fun since I will be learning PHP and MySQL along with Cascading Style Sheets for the project.  I decided recently that my friend and I need to both gain some web experience for some of our projects as it will help us from having to out source things so often in this area which is getting to be quite expensive these days!

I’m on the very last book in the epic Night’s Dawn Trilogy by Peter Hamilton, about halfway through.  So far I think it is still holding together really well, but i’ve been warned that the solution is somewhat Deus Ex Machina, so that is always at the back of my mind as I read it.  I’ll give my final opinions on the books once I get done which should be in less than a week at my current rate of consumption.
