Lost Season 3

I just finished watching Lost Season 3 on DVD last night, after putting it off for several months. I had purchased the DVD set a while back, but couldn’t get myself motivated to pop it in because I couldn’t remember the plot of season 2’s many twists and turns well enough. Luckily, I finally started watching them on Sunday night and got hooked!

Since I had Monday off, I was able to get through 17 of the episodes just from Sunday to Monday and then I finished up the last 6 episodes last night (sleep is optional right?). Season 3 starts off a little bit slow and we don’t get to see all of our favorite characters at first. We do get to learn a lot more about the “Others” throughout this season and that turns out to be not such a bad thing. As time goes on I really got hooked on their back story and they started to show us more back story of their leader, Ben, toward the end of the season. My favorite part of season 3 though had to be the complete surprise at the end of the season finale. Let’s just say that you probably won’t see that one coming! There are some new characters in season 3 and some characters will die (or seem to, you never know for sure on Lost!) and I can’t wait for season 4 now, but it hasn’t even aired on TV yet so I guess it is going to be a long time before it comes out on DVD.
