The Fate of Tyrlon and other Dubious Things

As promised, here is the first chapter (prologue) of my novel.  This is a fantasy book and you are free to leave suggestions or comments here or send them to me personally via e-mail at ironwill96 nospam at nospam gmail dot com (remove the nospams and change dot to . and at to @ and you have it!).

This is all a work in progress of course, and has constantly evolved over the years anyway.  I will post the chapters in RTF format so anyone can read them and as promised I am also adding a new page to the site for the novel.

Prologue - weighs in at around 10,000 words and gets you fairly well introduced to the story.

As a special treat to help show the writer’s process, here is the entirety of a much earlier version of the story that weighs in at 40,000 words and was stopped while terribly incomplete.  I felt that I had written myself into a corner in that version of the story and you can see that very few elements are shared between the two except character names and a few of the books the main character reads are in both versions.
