You wanted screenshots, you got’em!

Ok, so nobody really was asking me for screenshots but I figured i’d give them to my imaginary readers anyway :-)

Linked to below in no uncertain order are 24 IN-GAME screenshots (1680×1050 resolution - you may have to click to enlarge the screenshot in your browser or else it will squish them by default, especially if you are not on a widescreen monitor!) to show what it looks like when running on almost max settings. I don’t have any screenshots of the actual starting area because I was doing some debug and had the start location set to the campsite. The starting area is really foggy at sundown in a huge forest (350+ trees). I’ll post some screenies of it at a later time.

Entry point into the campsite area (it is meant to be really dark in this area - you are offered a torch in this area because of it): Click Here
Campsite Ruins where you meet Irrinor, your first companion: Click Here
Campsite Conversation with Irrinor: Click Here
Orc Encounter right after the above conversation: Click Here
Campsite conversation continues: Click Here
Campsite Conversation (I like the view behind Irrinor here): Click Here
Campsite ruins with map and journal pulled up: Click Here
Campsite area, orc encampment..talk about overkill: Click Here
The Strange Parchment (won’t reveal much about this as it will ruin the plot!): Click Here

Tyrlon Area Screenshots:

This is an area to your left as you enter the Tyrlon area: Click Here
This is what you see when you look to the right: Click Here
Another farming area on the lakeshore: Click Here
Below the first bridge, you can see how i’m using stone pillars to act as supports since the bridge model doesnt extend all the way down, a little bit of tweaking still needed on placement of these: Click Here
Going toward Tyrlon across the bridges: Click Here
Looking back at the farm (the one on the left when you come in): Click Here
Getting closer to Tyrlon now: Click Here
Crest of Hill into Tyrlon: Click Here
Looking back at how you came in: Click Here
The bridge supports on this third bridge are really tall (ok, i’m easily amused!): Click Here
Entering Tyrlon: Click Here
Looking back across the lake from the pathway leading to the Temple: Click Here
Climbing to Temple on the circular path (needs work on smoothing rough edges still): Click Here
Whoops! You can see the unfinished city below, as you can see just the buildings have been placed at this time, no texturing or pathing has been done yet!: Click Here
And finally the Temple from the back where the path ends: Click Here

Hope you enjoyed that look into 2 of our exterior areas that are part of module 1. Hopefully some info / screenies of the interior areas coming soon (as soon as I can light a fire under the other designer and get him to post to the blog!). Remember some things still need fine polishing etc but this is a much closer look at end results since it is in-game and most of these areas are pretty much ready to use. I think it is neat to see a project as it progresses along the way though (where we’ve been, where we’re going etc), so hopefully you do as well.

That’s all for now, hope to post again in a couple of days!

These look really great, I like the way that you used the background’s colors to set the atmosphere for the module. Keep plugging away I’ll definitely play it!
